The Elite's superb tissue detail allows for enhanced evaluation of head and neck structures. Pre-surgical and pre-radiation treatment planning and follow-up are enhanced by the ability to delineate anatomical boundaries. In addition, it is simple to determine both size and extension of lesions in the head and neck area and vascular from non-vascular anatomy without the risk associated with iodinated contrast agents. Dedicated coils combined with soft tissue characterization sequences provide optimal delineation of normal and abnormal structures.
