High-Field Performing Open MRI
The Elite produces high-field quality, high-resolution neurological MR images that allow for superior detection of disease processes and is highly sensitive to the contrast between various anatomical structures. The Elite allows for high-resolution imaging of the brain to determine the extent of CVA/Stroke with the use of diffusion weighted imaging, as well as MRA to determine vascular malformations, aneurysms, and stenosis. The Elite generates detailed images for detecting pathologies associated with Multiple Sclerosis, metastatic disease, seizures, and Alzheimer's. Also, complex imaging planes are possible which allow for specific scans of the optic nerve and its tracts, the optic chiasm, the internal auditory canals, and the pituitary.
