High-Field Performing Open MRI
The Elite produces high-field quality, high-resolution neurological MR images that allow for superior detection of disease processes and is highly sensitive to the contrast between various anatomical structures. MRI of the spine provides more diagnostic information for evaluation of primary or metastatic tumors of the spinal cord. Spinal cord anatomical structures, such as the nerve roots, neural foramina, ligaments, and disc spaces, are further enhanced by exceptional resolution and tissue contrast. Also, using orthogonal and multiple oblique slice planes and specific pulse sequences, the Elite provides a high effective alternative to myelography. Delineation and specificity of the anatomy and pathologic conditions is further enhanced by high-resolution thin slice acquisitions.
